Who is responsible

Gloamey BV, based in Haarlem, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99672219. For anything to do with privacy, email info@gloamey.com.

Cookies and Google Analytics

We want to know which pages work and which do not. For that we use Google Analytics, but only if you say yes in the notice at the bottom of the page. If you say no, or do not click anything, we do not load Google Analytics and set no cookies.

If you say yes, Google Analytics sets a few cookies (their names start with _ga) and sends data about your visit to Google: which pages you view, how you got here, your device and browser, and roughly where you are based on your IP address. We use that only for statistics about this site. Not for advertising, and we do not link it to anything you enter in the form. Google LLC is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We remember your choice for twelve months in your own browser, then ask again. Changed your mind? Use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

What we keep if you fill in the form

If you fill in the contact form, we store what you enter there yourself:

• your name and the name of your business
• your email address and, if you fill it in, your phone number
• your message and your answer to the question about your call volume
• which page you used and, if there is one, the campaign code from the link that brought you here

We use that only to get in touch with you and follow up your enquiry. We do not sell it, we do not rent it out, and we do not put you on a mailing list without your consent.

On what basis

For the contact form, that is your consent, which you give with the tick box when you send it. If an assignment follows, we process your data because it is necessary to perform that agreement. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.

For how long

Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment we keep for at most twenty-four months, then delete. If you become a client, the retention periods in our agreement apply, along with the Dutch statutory seven-year retention period for financial records.

Who else sees it

Only Jerome and Jesper. We work with a small number of suppliers who process the data technically, such as our hosting, our database, our email and, if you say yes to it, Google Analytics. We have data processing agreements with those parties and they may not use the data for themselves. We share nothing with advertisers or data brokers.

Data from conversations with our agents

When we build a phone or WhatsApp agent for a client, the data from those conversations remains that client's and we act as processor. We set that out per assignment in a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR, including the commitment that conversation data is not used to train models. Those agreements are separate from this statement, which covers this website only.

Your rights

You may ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to the processing and ask for your data to be transferred. Email info@gloamey.com and you will have an answer within thirty days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection only. Form data is stored in a database that allows a message to be sent in but not read out, and that can only be accessed with a separate key. If you suspect something has gone wrong with your data, let us know and we will respond the same day.

Changes

If anything changes in how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
